Responsibilities Take ownership of the end-to-end quotation process for lighting projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and timely delivery. Develop and maintain quote strategies that maximize profitability and strengthen customer trust. Review tender documents, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed and precise quotations. Build strong partnerships with trade customers, contractors, and internal teams to understand project requirements and timelines. Provide technical guidance and product recommendations during the quoting phase to influence purchasing decisions. Negotiate pricing structures, discounts, and terms aligned with commercial objectives and margin targets. Collaborate with procurement and manufacturers to secure accurate costs and lead times for project bids. Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure seamless transition from quote to order fulfillment. Monitor market trends , competitor pricing, and customer feedback to refine quoting strategies and maintain competitiveness. Analyze quote performance, win/loss ratios, and pipeline data, providing actionable insights and recommendations . Prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and participate in alignment meetings with sales and management teams. Skills & Experience You have proven experience in quotation management or estimating, ideally in lighting, electrical, or construction supply. Strong knowledge of lighting products and industry standards. Proficiency in quoting and CRM software (Salesforce, SimPRO, Excel, etc.). You have an understanding of trade pricing structures and margin management. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Experience working with architects, contractors, or specifiers. Ability to communicate clearly in English. If you can read technical drawings and lighting layouts is a plus.
