Zumtobel Lighting in Milan are recruiting for a new Key Account Manager to join us and focus on the retail clients for the End User team. You would be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key retail partners. The role focuses on driving sales, expanding market share, and ensuring brand visibility across retail channels for lighting products, services and solutions.
Responsibilities
You will develop and execute account plans, sales strategies, and promotional activities to increase product penetration. You can identify new retail partners and opportunities for business expansion in modern trade, traditional trade, and project segments. You can build strong, long-term relationships with B2B clients. You will negotiate annual contracts, pricing, margins, and promotions with key accounts. Support product launches, demos, and training sessions at retail outlets. Handle customer queries, complaints, and post-sales issues efficiently. Track competitor activity, market trends, and provide insights to management. Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and account performance reviews. Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
Skills & Experience
You have previous experience in account management or trade sales, ideally in lighting, electrical, or food. Strong knowledge of the electric or lighting industry and the associated retail distribution channels. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze data and develop actionable plans. Self-motivated and target-driven. You are proficient with MS Office and experience with Salesforce would be an advantage.
