Key Account Manager - Somerset, Devon & Cornwall Key Account Manager - Somerset, Devon & Cornwall South West England, UK SpotLIGHT of the job Zumtobel are on the lookout for a Key Account Manager to cover Somerset, Devon & Cornwall. Our overall objective is to further develop the already strong key territory in both the specification and the trade/distribution channels. You will forge strong and lasting relationships with the relevant customers and contribute to the Group’s very ambitious growth plans. Responsibilities You will own the area sales budget to deliver and exceed sales in line with agreed objectives. You will establish new and develop existing customer networks with a broad mix of customer types including Distributors, Specifiers, Lighting Designers and M&E Consultants. Develop and execute annual account plans aligned to the regional commercial strategy. Understanding the sector drivers and possible opportunities in order to develop strategies and tactics to achieve sustainable growth. Ensure regular structured customer contact including reviews, joint visits and technical support sessions. You will closely cooperate with internal sales and our lighting design colleagues, recognising sales as teamwork. Skills & Experience Proven field sales experience within lighting, electrical, or a technical product category. Proven track record of profitable long-term business partnerships and strong commercial mind-set. You are a great communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills. You are a natural relationship builder who works closely with colleagues to ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything you do. You have the ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You encounter challenges with a positive attitude and have an interest in technology. You have a curious mind with a desire for continuous improvement and development. Previous experience of CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage but not essential.
